We needed a roof repair and replacement to rectify leaks. Croydon maintenance did the work in quick time including arranging for a scaffolding. the work was excellent and kept us informed of the progress. their response for our queries were quick. Would reuse them and would recommend them too.
Very efficient but pricey
The company responded very quickly to the enquiry. They arrived promptly and the two men on site were efficient. The job became more complicated than first anticipated. But they worked logically to deremine the problem. However, I agreed a price for the extra work with head office. In reality however the job did not in my view justify the price.

Admittedly I only got one quote but the job was urgent as rear fence of house was open to the housing estate behind. Terry here within the hour and I filmed him assessing the job, describing what they would do, time frame and price & the 5-year guarantee. I emailed him the video to show his team. 5 men arrived next day, cut down dead 14′ tree, strimming & tidied garden – and built fence. But didn’t renew the concrete posts as quoted! reduced fee by £150. At £2250 this was still STEEP. Job done by 3pm same day. Then it was 4 yr guarantee. Shld have taken time for better design/materials

Side fence and gate
The fence and gate are very similar to the gate I wanted. Different opening latch and there is no hook to hold gate back which is what I discussed. The alignment of gate to close is closer at top than bottom but one man to do the job in 4.5 hours was extremely good. A very pleasant man who is part of the family with a diverse range of skills. I had a collapsing low garden wall with a fence and posts attached. Terry arrived at said time, he gave a reasonable quote. The guys overcame difficult obstacles, they installed new posts, gravel boards and fence panels and removed all rubbish and left the site neat and tidy. I couldn’t have asked for more. After a bad experience with another roofer, these guys came and sorted everything out. They carried out the work amazingly fast and professionally, I couldn’t believe how quickly they started and got it done. Excellent job done! I called on Monday afternoon to see if they could come and re-fit a tile that had blown off my roof. They came first thing the next morning. I’d thoroughly recommend Croydon Property Maintenance. They did a great job in removing some trees, dismantling an old shed and building a new fence across the rear of our garden. Considering we live in a mid terrace house everything had to come through the house, which was no easy task, but they covered carpets with plastic sheeting and removed everything swiftly and cleared up afterwards They were professional hard working friendly but courteous. Garden (jungle) clearance
Cubitt and West in Shirley provided the telephone number from the local magazine for Croydon Property Maintenance (CPM) – as we’re not local to Shirley/Croydon. We rang CPM on the Monday explaining that we needed my dad’s garden – more like a jungle – cleared ready for the Saturday open day for viewings. Dad’s garden is 100 foot + and thigh-high brambles in places. However, CPM came round on the Monday the same day, gave a written quote and prioritised the job, which was completed in one day on the Thursday the same week. Before and after pictures were provided. Would recommend CPM.
New Roof Guttering Fascia Soffits
Terry talked me through the Quote I explained step by step how the work would be carried out also explained no money to be payed until works completed and I was happy with the work all work was guaranteed also would takes photographs as work is carried out That was exactly what happened. Got extensive work done this summer (in Sanderstead) by them and I must say my garden has been transformed. Can’t complain at all about the worksmanship, timeliness and attention to detail. Price was agreed upfront and the men working were a friendly skilled bunch who did a great job and completed the work to perfection. All debris and rubbish were neatly disposed off by them, thus leaving the garden in a condition better than I had initially visualised in my head. Would definitely use them again!
Artificial Grass installation.
The governor Terry visited and gave a quotation and was ultimately accepted. The work commenced on agreed date of Tuesday 12 September. The garden of 35m2 was a mess that confronted the lads and they set to work preparing the garden for the artificial turf. On Wednesday 13 September at 1400hrs the job was complete and the garden looked a dream. The rubbish was taken away and garden left in a clean and tidy state. A last minute request was made with Terry to straighten and repair our leaning fence. Job done at drop of a hat. Highly recommend Croydon Property Maintenance, superb job.

Pruning of trees
I asked for some trees to be pruned as they were looking very untidy. All the guy did with the hedge trimmers was to go across the top leaving it flat, no shape given to the trees plus a lot of the debris was left in the trees. Leaving me to get up a ladder and remove it. I tried calling to complain got the answer machine so left a message. No response. Will not be using them again. Was thinking of getting my drive done by them. Not anymore though.

Great job by this company. Digging up old paving slabs, knocking conservatory down, painting of fascia to back of house. Laying new Indian Sandstone patio and artificial grass area with sleepers. Terry and his team were always friendly and arrived when arranged and on time. Worked hard whilst here, rarely stopping for breaks. I am really pleased with the finished job.

Obtained a quote to have gutters cleaned, after using Croydon Property Maintenance for another job. The price for the gutters was confirmed in writing by Terry, however when I tried to arrange a date for the job, he first told me he’d get back to me with availability , which he didn’t do and then he told he couldn’t do the job at the price he had confirmed. I found them to be unreliable, time wasters and unethical. I would not recommend or use them again.

CPM came to replace a couple of damaged bricks on the wall. The brickwork was neat. They also replaced the fence. It was completed quickly, looked good and the site left clean. Everyone we met at CPM were very nice and easy to communicate with. Would recommend and be using them again.

Pigeon-proofing the eaves of a 2x storey terraced house and correction of a misaligned gutter.
Visited by an Estimator very soon after our enquiry. Recommended option agreed, price accepted and date fixed for following week. Men arrived early and completed the labour-intensive jobs quickly and efficiently. It had been intended to work wholly from our front garden, but an unexpected hitch required a ladder in our neighbour’s garden to complete the meshing. The neighbour gave permission and he was spoken to with the same courtesy and consideration that we had been. As an aside, it has been my experience that poor contractors generally have tatty vehicles. The CPM vehicles were immaculate!

Downpipe replacement
Came the same day as inquiry for a quote, which was well priced, and then did the job straight away to a high standard, in good time and without leaving a mess.
Fix a significant leak in our loft extention.
Noticed a bad leak after moving into a new property. Problem accurately identified after initial consultation. Work completed quickly and discretely. After several heavy downpours since completionof work, no further leakage. We spoke with several other roofers, and the advice offered by CPM was by far the most pragmatic and appropriate for our needs. Would highly recommend.
To fix a detached piece of guttering
This was a particularly difficult fix as the guttering joint had broken on the first floor roof directly above the conservatory which has a sloping roof. This did not deter the guys from replacing the joint. They placed a scaffolding board on the sloping roof and the guy climbed on to it and walked along to get to the joint. Hands down, I do not know that anyone else would have tried that, the guys were brilliant. I would not hesitate to use this company again. First class service. Cheers guys

CPM came to fix some fence panels and a gate which were in very bad condition. The team were very polite, professional, and just got on with the job. It wasn’t easy due to the fence being badly installed in a DIY job by the previous owners. But they did a really stellar job and ensured that my gate and that of my neighbour’s shut securely. Caught these guys as they were doing another job on my road. Asked if they could have a look at the flat bit of my roof as we had a leak come through in the storm. They came over within the hour, took pictures of the issue and took time to explain the issue. They also pointed out the broken gutter that I hadn’t noticed. Quote was very reasonable especially as another roofer had said we’d need the whole roof replaced earlier that morning. They came round again after their other job and fixed it that very afternoon. In my opinion the whole job was carried out in a most unprofessional manner. Starting with drainage this was to consist of a rainwater down pipe ,gully two channel gullies (for drive) and and a basket soakaway. I had to insist on a gully with 110mm pipework below the rainwater downpipe as their intentional was to run the downpipe straight to the soakaway. This was rectified but unfortunately the downpipe was no longer over the grate.( this was later rectified). Unfortunately not enough characters to continue.

This is the 3rd time I’ve used this company, and cannot see me using any other company. When I compare, they’re usually the best value. They are always polite and professional, but find them genuinely friendly aswell, and they work really well together. I am explained upfront what will happen, giving me the opportunity to add any changes, then they get the job done to a very high standard. This time taking down a garage roof and skilfully removing brick walls that were very close to some fencing, without any damage to the fence. Always tiding up afterwards.
